“Inside the European Union” with Łukasz Kempara

Warsaw Montessori High School is honoured to invite you to the next lecture in the series:
“Shaping The Minds of The Future with Warsaw Montessori High School.”
The project Shaping The Minds of The Future with Warsaw Montessori High School is a series of workshops and meetings during which distinguished figures from the worlds of business, culture, media, and politics share their professional experiences, career paths, and the projects they are involved in.
The lectures aim to inspire young people to consciously shape their future, develop key competencies, and better understand the contemporary world.
The upcoming lecture, titled “Inside the European Union: How Decisions Made in Brussels Affect Your Everyday Life,”will be delivered by Łukasz Kempara, Press Officer at the Liaison Office of the European Parliament in Poland. He is an expert in European communication and a long-serving official of European Union institutions.
Łukasz Kempara has been involved with European institutions since 2003. He participated in the establishment of the European Parliament Office in Poland even before Poland joined the European Union, and after accession became the first Polish person to serve as Director of the Office. He also led the opening of the European Parliament Office in Wrocław and managed its activities for many years. Currently, he is responsible for media relations, countering disinformation, and communicating the work of the European Parliament.
During the meeting, students will have the opportunity to learn how the European Union functions, how decisions made in Brussels influence citizens’ everyday lives, and what it is like to work “behind the scenes” of European institutions.
