PROJECT KA210 – SCH
The Montessori Bilingual Innovations project is the result of collaboration between Warsaw Montessori School, Duhovka Elementary School, and the Duhovka Institute. The initiative aims to create an innovative educational program that combines Montessori methods with bilingual education in an international environment. The project’s goal is to support teachers in bilingual teaching, promoting language integration through dynamic teaching methods that develop both language and social skills.
The main objective of the project is the development of a bilingual program that allows students to simultaneously acquire two languages while maintaining an individualized approach to each learner. The program focuses on learning in two languages—Polish and English—with an emphasis on learning through interactive Montessori materials. The project emphasizes a creative and practical approach to learning, where children learn through experience, observation, and active participation in lessons.
As part of the project, teachers from both schools will participate in international training sessions, expanding their knowledge and skills in bilingual education. The project also includes the exchange of experiences among teachers from different countries, which will contribute to the creation of an international network of educational collaboration. As a result, students will have the opportunity to learn in an environment that promotes their language, social, and emotional development.
The project involves schools from Poland and the Czech Republic, and its implementation will lead to the development of standardized bilingual education practices that can be applied in other institutions. The project runs from December 2023 to November 2024, and its outcomes will be widely disseminated at the European level, including through Erasmus+ and eTwinning platforms.
The main goals of the project are: the development of an innovative Montessori bilingual program, improvement of teachers’ language skills, and strengthening international cooperation between educational institutions.
