First Grade Ceremony 2019
Warsaw Montessori School, prepared our new First graders to take part in a long time tradition of the initiation of students. Our ceremony, this year, was held on Friday, October 18th.
At the ceremony, the students of WMS gathered together with the parents and grandparents of our first graders. We all enjoyed the poems, songs speeches and witnessing them take a pledge to be seekers of knowledge. The ceremony included the receiving of a school pin, a gift of a wooden, hand carved, “wise old owl”, a small but beautiful bouquet of flowers and a family portrait to remember the day. Following the ceremony was a reception for our esteemed students and their families.
We congratulate our First Graders and wish them many happy and fulfilling years at school.
