When dreams become a reality…
When working with children time flies…
Days, weeks, months and years pass so quickly.
I have barely finished my very first day of teaching in September 1999 – thinking that what I learned during my Montessori studies does not only exist in books but works beautifully in practice… and here we are celebrating our tenth anniversary.
That day, almost ten years ago, I first truly experienced and understood that children can really concentrate, they can listen, they can absorb and they are so happy and independent interacting wonderfully in mixed-age groups.
I loved it, and made my dream of having a true Casa dei Bambini become a reality. I loved it even more when I saw our Elementary Montessori children only 5 years later.
They were thinking independently, concentrating, and learning for their own satisfaction. They were happy, they were eager to help others.
This is a school that is so different from what I had experienced being in school years ago. My dream came true again.
When I found out that my baby Florek would be born, starting a Montessori Toddler group was a given. What Mummy would not be moved to tears, seeing her 18-month-old baby going into the classroom with a big smile on his face saying “bye bye mama”.
For me, running our Montessori School means loving it and working 24 hours a day, but it also means the enthusiasm, passion, love, and dedication of a group of people who have been with me for a decade making our school such a beautiful place.
Thank you!
The support and encouragement given by my friends, my family and the parents of our 160 children now is very much appreciated.
Florek’s Daddy, who supported me greatly in this life project, used to say that “being human is doing things to make this world better place”.
Running our Montessori schools for ten years now gives me optimism, happiness and faith that every day, week, month and year this world is a better place and that dreams can come true.
