WMMS volunteering
First of all, in addition to the students, we would like to thank you for your commitment to volunteering, but to our entire Montessori Family. We also handed out homemade gingerbread cookiers to the students involved in volunteering as a symbolic gesture of acknowledgement. This school year, we have already organized many campaigns including collecting school materials, winter clothing for those in need, bake sales, and above all, we engaged in active support for refugees in the camp in Bezwola, adjacent to Montessori Farm School in Białka. During the festive season, we constantly open our hearts, for which we are very grateful to everyone.
We support:
– Christmas action in Bezwola in the form of gifts for children,
– Na paluchu shelter – we encourage you to buy calendars and material support (good quality dog and cat food, 1001 small items: blankets, towels, hygienic pads, dog toys, dog food slowing down bowls, dog treats, natural teethers, dog harnesses , orthopedic beds, toys for cats)
– Christmas help for local refugees living in the area, whom we help throughout the year (winter clothes, gifts).
We would like to introduce you to the history of our local volunteering. We have been helping Ms Raisa’s family for another year. There are three of them, Mrs. Raisa, Jasmina and Deni – wonderful modest, grateful and talented people. They share their gifts with all other Chechens from Mokotów, keeping only the most necessary things for themselves. The girl draws beautifully – you can see her work in the pictures attached. They never ask for non-necessary things, only for the most basic of needs. We were even more happy with Ms. Raisa’s family, being able to give unique gifts donated by you.
